Panic attacks | how to help


Panic attack or anxiety attack




A person having a panic attack may show the following symptoms:
  • The person may starts sweating excessively.
  • He starts shaking.
  • He gets out of breath.
  • He may chock.
  • He starts having nausea.
  • He starts feeling dizziness.
  • He may experiences chest pain.
  • His heart starts racing.

Whenever you are having a panic attack you should do the following:
  • Pay attention to what is going on.
  • Take deep breaths.
  • Think realistic. Don’t imagine things in your head.

When the person near you is having a panic attack:
  • Be supportive.
  • Don’t ever say anything like be relax or calm down. Calming down for them may be not easy and they may become more panic.
  • Ask them what they want to do and allow them to do that.
